Birth and childhood
Hazrat Imam Shah Hassan Ali Shah (PBUH) was born in 1804 in the city of Mahalaat in Iran. His mother's name was Bibi Sarkar. He lived in the palace with his mother. Your mother arranged your education and training in your childhood. Imam (as) used to read religious books from his childhood and also read poems of Sufi poets. Due to his love of reading books, he collected many books. -
Imamat:
Iran at that time was ruled by Fateh Ali Qajar. The political situation in Iran was not good at that time. In 1817, there was an uprising in Shahrizad of Iran in which Imam Shah Khalilullah, the father of Hazrat Imam was martyred Shah Fateh Ali Shah of Iran expressed regret over this incident and invited Hazrat Imam to Tehran and married Hazrat Imam to his daughter Princess Sarwar Jahan and appointed him governor of two famous cities of Iran, palaces and nation. He was also given the honorary title of Aga Khan - which is still a family title till today. There was a great shock - but he patiently guided the disciples and took over the work of the government - Hazrat Imam is also known in history as Aga Khan Mahalati.
Death
Hazrat Imam died in Bombay on 12 April 1881. After him his son Hazrat Imam Ali Shah ascended the throne. Hazrat Imam Hassan Ali Shah's tomb is in Bombay which is known as Hassanabad. Has been on the throne for more than a year.
